Design Build Storage LLC was established in March of 2000. We have built a solid reputation in quality construction development within the self-storage industry. This has been achieved through careful selection of viable location sites with a demand for storage. This is the first step in successful project development.
Design Build Storage employs a full time professional staff. This would include a company officer, administrative staff, project designers, project estimators, project managers, jobsite superintendents, and field personnel necessary to complete the goals of our developments.
Design Build Storage will create a turnkey environment for clients interested in the self-storage industry. We have completed developments for leaders in this business sector. Companies like Public Storage, Extra Space, and Life Storage have benefited from our expertise and high quality construction. We also have developed and retained properties as part of our own commercial portfolio.

What We Do

MEET JIM LAPETINA
OWNER-OPERATOR-DEVELOPER-GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Mr. Lapetina has been in the Self-Storage Industry for 20 plus years as a Developer/General Contractor & Owner Operator. He has personally created over 1,500,000 net rentable square feet. All of the properties developed were considered “Class A Facilities”, a self storage industry designation as the “Highest Grade Level” for a property. The facilities include climate control, surveillance security, and other state of the art amenities.
Jim’s philosophy when designing a storage site is to create an environment that is user friendly, safe secure, and uses a strong management team to meet customer needs.
